Excitement builds for Silver Muse
Could Silversea’s new flagship serve as the source of inspiration for your next cruise voyage? If you ask me, there is no question that the new ship due for completion in April 2017 will help you see the world in a different light.
Those sailing on Silver Muse during her inaugural season will visit world-class locations that include 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites from ancient Greek temples, the Cinque Terre in Liguria, the Historic Centre of Rome, the Archaeological Site of Olympia, and the Tower of Belém in Lisbon.
Silver Muse has been getting ready for her big debut, which includes a christening event that takes place in Monaco on April 19, 2017.
The 40,700-ton cruise ship was constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. With the debut of the new flagship, the cruise line is promising that Silver Muse will set a new standard for the brand. With a capacity for 596 guests, this small ship wonder offers a passenger-to-crew ratio of almost one to one and, of course, a dedicated butler will offer service each suite., personalized attention will continue to be the hallmark of Silversea’s gold-standard service.
Not to miss ship highlights
- Suites feature a neutral color palate, luxurious bedding and spacious quarters (the Veranda Suites are 323 square feet, plus a 64-square-foot balcony). Butler service, a stocked bar, and complimentary WiFi are included.
- Enjoy a multicourse French dinner at MaDame, a specialty restaurant developed with help from Relais & Chateaux.
- Dine at Indochine or Kabuki, two Asian-inspired restaurants onboard. Tastes of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Indian fare will be on the menu.

Silversea Cruises promises that Silver Muse will redefine ocean travel, enhancing the small-ship intimacy with spacious all-suite accommodations that are the hallmarks of the Silversea experience. The addition of Silver Muse will expand Silversea’s fleet to nine ships, once again significantly raising the bar in the ultra-luxury cruise market.
