Silversea’s Seishin offers Asian fusion haute cuisine on the high seas

Cruise guests can experience Asian fusion cuisine at Seishin, a specialty restaurant found exclusively on Silversea Cruises Silver Spirit.  Seishin means “spirit” in Japanese, a fitting moniker I would say.

Seishin offers an eclectic Asian-fusion style menu with a gourmet twist

Cruise passengers can choose from either a 4 or 5-course dinner tasting menu for an additional $20 per person or for $30 diners can eat a 9-course dinner. I decided to go all-out and sample the 9-course dinner.

Seishin has space for no more than 30 guests who can expect to eat a variety of regional dishes from Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, and India.  Take a peek at the menus below to see what you will encounter when dining at this outlet onboard Silver Spirit.

Watch your dinner get prepared in the central Chef’s Table at Seishin restaurant on Silver Spirit.

A work of art: select sashimi and sushi served at Seishin.

Seishin guests on Silver Spirit will have to decide between two four-course menus “Teaser 1” or “Teaser 2” menus, which cost $20 per person. The other option is a 9-course menu, which is $30 per person. There are a couple of price points for those wishing to pair their dinner with sake or other premium wines.
