Pre or Post Cruise Ideas: Aerospace Tours Near Seattle
Aerospace Tours Near Seattle: Flying Heritage Collection, Future of Flight Aviation Center and Boeing Tour, Historic Flight Foundation.
If cruise visitors staying in Seattle for longer than a night have some free time on their hands, take a trip to Snohomish County to enjoy an aerospace tour. I had a chance to visit three of the options available and although it was a lot of planes, I really got to see what each collection and attraction had to offer.
As you can see from the Google Map, the attractions are very close together.

A trip to the Boeing plant is about as good as it gets. To see the assembly line where the newest and best planes are getting produced is a real treat. As they mentioned on the tour, “If’s it’s not Boeing, I am not going.” >>> Read my full review here.

- Meet Grumpy a B-Bomber with attitude
The B-25D Mitchell Bomber was out and ready to take some passengers on a ride the day we were visiting. Like all the planes in the collection, the warbird was operational.
Not for the average aviator. The super-fast P-51B Mustang emerged in 1942 as a high-altitude North American fighter that could escort bombers deep into enemy territory.
