Cruise information for Rome

Cruise ships will dock in Civitavecchia, which is a province of Rome in the central Italian region of Lazio. Passengers can choose to take a shore excursion from the ship or try to get into the city of Rome via the train. The train station is a short walk from the port authority. Expect a 45-80-minute train ride to get into Rome and make sure to get back onboard with plenty of time to spare (do not take the last train).
