Royal Caribbean taps into the hottest trend in travel – experiental travel

I was just reading my cruise line Twitter feed and read this tweet:

Dhani Jones,  a former American football linebacker and host of an adventure travel show called Dhani Tackles the Globe, mentioned his new title of “experience advisor.”  I think that title is so awesome; it sums up the state of the cruise industry (and for that matter travel as a whole). The trend towards experience-rich vacations is hot.

Royal Caribbean International has teamed up with Dhani Jones as the Quantum Experience Advisor for Sports and Fitness to create a game plan for active cruising onboard its newest ship, Quantum of the Seas.
