Cruise Buzz

Thanks Princess for hosting this Twitter travel tour.

Day 1. Today we begin the journey. Leaving on Alaskan Air from John Wayne Airport to Fairbanks.  Already some of the group has arrived, the rest of the group is en-route.

I really enjoy the seemless process that Princess Cruises is known for.  Upon arrival in Fairbanks, I will surrender my bags with the Princess Cruises representatinve at the airport and then transfer to my lodge. The Princess Riverside Lodge in Fairbanks is situated on the quiet banks of the Chena River and it serves as the kickoff to the #FollowMeAtSea Twitter expedition.

In keeping with the Fairbanks spirit of adventure, after all it was founded by miners consumed with the gold fever, I am prepared to get up-close to nature and glaciers.  I just hope I adjust to the Midnight Sun.
