Due to very limited email, I have had to postpone my daily dispatches. However, don’t worry because I have them all standing by for when I get a stable signal.

In the meantime, I just enjoyed a fabulous hike up The 14th July Glacier in Svalbard on Silver Explorer. We have seen many polar bears, birds, and incredible landscapes. Below are a few of the shots.

Bday party

Romeo (our fab Silversea butler - with guitar) and his friends sing me Happy Bday.

Imagine my surprise when I returned from a hike on The 14th of July Glacier to find our butler (everyone has one on Silversea Cruises) and his band mates in my suite standing by to  sing me “Happy Birthday.” It was a great way to celebrate my birthday, especially after a fabulous hike with fantastic views of the bay and the vast crevasses of the glacier.
