Cunard Line gets ready to welcome a new Queen

The buzz in the cruise business is the excitement surrounding the new Queen at Cunard Line, Queen Elizabeth, the newest cruise ship to launch at the upscale cruise line.

Cunard Line has promised to respect tradition and to develop a cruise concept that celebrates the Golden Age of Ocean Travel.  Combining the elegant touches of the past and mixing them with modern touches like textiles, technology and timeless service will please cruisers.

Cunard Line hopes to relive the glamour days of high society events of the 1930s and 1940s and has paid a lot of attention to creating ornate rooms whose rich decor recalls the halcyon days when the  first Queen Elizabeth ruled the waves.

Before she embarks on a 13 night Maiden Voyage on October 12, 2010, Queen Elizabeth will be surrounded by friends of the press and Cunard Line VIP’s at the naming ceremony.
