Cruise Biz Buzz Daily
Check out the best of what’s buzzing in the cruise industry. Stories from cruise lines via social media sites like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Making waves: Silversea Cruises, Viking River Cruises, Star Clippers, Princess Cruises, and Carnival Breeze.
Making the biggest splash in the social media soup is Silversea Cruises who announced the acquisition of a Galapagos Tourism Company and expedition ship. The Silversea Group announced yesterday that it had purchased Canodros SA, the Ecuadorian tourism company that operates in the Galapagos Islands, and their expedition ship, Galapagos Explorer II.
Also catching my attention were the Carnival Breeze Pinterest boards specifically designed for their newest Carnival Cruise Lines’ ship. I give high marks to Carnival for embracing the newest social media tool.
