Follow me at sea with Princess Cruises to Alaska

Princess Cruises held its first-ever Twitter trip last November and invited a group of  travel Twitterers aboard to share their cruise experience with their followers in “real time.”  Based on the enthusiastic response by all the participants (and their followers), Princess Cruises is hosting another Twitter-centric trip this summer to Alaska, and Cruise Buzz will be onboard.

As a guest of Princess Cruises, Cruise Buzz from Cruise Holidays of Mission Vejo has the chance to escape completely on an Alaska cruisetour with Princess Cruises and share your experiences —such as riding the Alaska railroad through pristine wilderness, hiking on a glacier, viewing wildlife and seeing Glacier Bay from your private balcony stateroom, just to name a few.

A Princess Alaska cruisetour enables travelers to experience the best of Alaska by both land and sea—from the tidewater glaciers and sea life, to the beauty of the interior, especially the “jewel” of Alaska, Denali National Park.  Combining a seven-day cruise with a land tour, our trip will run from Tuesday, June 15, through Saturday, June 26, 2010.

The trip begins with three days filled with exciting excursions from Princess’ wilderness lodges, including the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge, Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge and McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge.  One of the highlights of the land tour will be traveling through the interior of Alaska on the Princess Rail.

The three days on land will be followed by seven days at sea exploring the glaciers and pioneer Alaska towns aboard Coral Princess.  After departing from Anchorage, the ship will cruise by Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park, before making stops in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and finally ending in Vancouver.
