London Express recap Day 3
Europe Express has kept us busy with site inspections, VIP tours in London, and numerous opportunities to discover why their company offers the best pre and post cruise products on the market.
We visited great hotels in the a.m. including: Flemings Mayfair (www.Flemings.co.uk ) and the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London (www.parkplazahotels.net).
Who would arrive at the Park Plaza? My #1 SEO genius from the UK who took me to the best kept secret in London: St Katharine’s docks and marina.
The Docks are built on a site that is over 1000 years old. The roots of the buildings on today’s site can be traced back to the 10th Century when King Edgar gave 13 acres of land to 13 Knights, with the right to use the land for trade. There is evidence of there having been a dock at St Katharine’s since 1125 and throughout the ages it has housed a Hospital and Monastery http://www.skdocks.co.uk/
Next. We called on The Pelham and The Gore. These boutique hotels are worth visiting, The staff could not be more helpful and dedicated to guest satisfaction. Here are some photos:
The Pelham and The Gore. If you have not stayed at these properties, now is the time. The level of service is fantastic and the location can’t be beat. Ask me about luxury VIP treatment and access. I love these properties.
The Gore is located between Knightsbridge and Kensington, opposite the Queens Gates to Hyde Park
The Gore is proud to be the official Hotel to the Royal Albert Hall, less than 100 metres away, and the closest luxury hotel for those attending events at Natural History Museum & Imperial College – all located within 500 metres of The Gore and under a mile from Knightsbridge shops such as Harrods & Harvey Nichols.
