What's happening in the cruise business

The cruise season is officially underway in Alaska, with the peak cruising season taking place from May to late September. Ships that visit Alaska on a seven-day itinerary typically sail along the Inside Passage and visit Glacier Bay National Park or Hubbard Glacier, stopping at three or four ports along the way.

While couples dominate cruise demographics, there continues to be growth in the realm of family travel – including extended or multi-generational family travel – especially now that we are on the verge of summer.

The best part is, it’s not too late to plan an Alaska cruise vacation for your family.  Now is a great time to get the family on an Alaskan cruise. America’s Last Frontier will delight explorers of all ages.
