Smooth Sailing for West Coast Smooth Jazz Cruise

All aboard Holland America Line for the 2013 Smooth Jazz Cruise taking place October 12 – 19th from San Diego aboard Holland America’s m/s Westerdam, calling on  Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and the beautiful Baja Coast.

Cruise passengers who love smooth jazz and cruising are in for a real treat. There are over 60 concerts on the program with plenty of time to enjoy the ports and the ship.

Attendees will watch performances by R&B jazz stars Brian Culbertson and Boney James who will also serve as hosts during the 7-night Mexican Riviera voyage.  Joining the hosts are David Sanborn, Marcus Miller, Tower of Power, Candy Dulfer, Jonathan Butler, Oleta Adams, Rick Braun, Norman Brown, Richard Elliot, Euge Groove, Earl Klugh, Kenny Lattimore, and party band DW3. Besides live jazz, there are DJ’s and a comedian.

Let’s face it, there are a lot of theme cruises out there vying for our attention. So what makes the Smooth Jazz Cruise produced by  Entertainment Cruise Productions, LLC so special?

For starters, the Smooth Jazz Cruise is special because of the team behind the scenes that produce the full-ship charters.  I have met Michael Lazaroff,  Executive Director of the Entertainment Cruise Productions, LLC many times at various jazz functions over the years. What impressed me from the very beginning was the genuine friendliness of their staff and Micheal’s obvious passion to keep jazz alive and well.
