Summer Travel Trends Twitter Chat #TWchats
This summer I had some very epic travel experiences. I kicked it off on Silversea Expeditions exploring the Arctic in search of polar bears, glaciers, and adventure. Then I had a great 2-day layover in London staying at One Aldwych while exploring the city during Wimbledon. Some of the highlights included enjoying the Scents of Summer high tea at the InterContinental Park Lane Hotel and attending a Martini Master class at The Egerton House Hotel.
After two delightful days in London, I made my way to the port of Southampton to board Azamara Quest for 14-days of total immersion visiting England, Ireland, and Scotland. Although the cruise was a golf-themed affair (Perry Golf hosted a large group in partnership with Azamara), I got to go in search of my roots looking for clues about the Cary’s and Finley’s. The grand finale was going to the Old Course at St. Andrews for the British Open.
One might wonder what I could possible do to top off all that travel?
As luck would have it, shortly after returning home I got to host my 14-year old niece who visited for a week in California. I took her to our fabulous beaches in Orange County and to the Orange County Fair, the movies, bowling, and all the fun places indicative of a perfect family vacation.
