Silversea Cruises new all-in-one Travel Journal

I was not expecting the new document package from Silversea Cruises for my upcoming voyage on Silver Spirit (see the highlights here). The Travel Journal that arrived in a thinner version of their signature gray box with Silverseas’s foil-stamped logo took me by surprise. There are a couple reasons for my excitement.

1. The arrival of cruise documents means that my cruise is near. With Silversea Cruises, the presentation of the documents sets the tone for the ultra-luxury touches awaiting me when I board Silver Spirit outside of Athens to cruise to Venice, Italy: let the pampering begin. I love that with Silversea there is no pre-printing my own boarding documents or flimsy paper luggage tags because the cruise line has taken care of it.
2. The Travel Journal contains a day-by-day breakdown of my itinerary as well as a summary of my pre and post hotel options and transfer details. With all the information in one place, I don’t have to go rifling through my papers, everything is in one place.

To help celebrate the 20th anniversary celebration at Silversea, the ultra luxury cruise line has given their document package a complete makeover. The result is a new Travel Journal that consolidates the traditional assortment of loose documents of booklets, wallets, and luggage tag holders. The new Travel Journal, which appeared in the early part of 2014 is very handy. The document package contains pre-printed luggage tags and the Travel Journal.

For most voyages in 2014, guests will receive this convenient new all-in-one Travel Journal that contains the cruise ticket, air, hotel and/or land program information (if arranged through Silversea), personalized voyage itinerary, shore excursion details and other useful information.
