Since the last Cruise Biz Buzz roundup, we observed Canada Day, a 175th Anniversary party for P&O Cruises, and citizens of the United States prepare for Independence Day celebrations.
175 Years of Great Cruising – POSH for sure
I found a lot of tweets, Facebook updates, Pinterest pins, and YouTube videos to help set the mood for the #GrandEvent commemorating the celebration taking place in Southampton in honor of P&O Cruises’ 175th Anniversary.
As an avid cruiser, I can’t help but jump on board (albeit via cyberspace) and join the fun. The Grand Event has all my favorite elements: cruise ships, social media, and a party. For the P&O anniversary party, all seven ships of the P&O Cruises fleet were together in their homeport of Southampton on the same day, July 3, 2012.
