Regal Princess Sea Trials
Princess Cruises’ newest ship has completed her sea trials in the Adriatic Sea; the clock is ticking down to her May 20 debut in Venice, Italy.
Sea trials are a big deal for a ship, marking a major milestone on the path to final delivery from the shipyard to the client.
Regal Princess set out to sea from her construction dock located at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. The purpose of the sea trials is to test out the ship’s propulsion, steering and navigational equipment while performing maneuvers.
