Quick facts about fundraiser #Cruise4Haiti
The reason I got interested in helping develop the Cruise4Haiti fundraiser was outlined in this post. Social media friends have asked for more details so here is a quick summary:

We need your help in raising awareness for the Cruise4Haiti, Voluntourism, and the fact that although Haiti is no longer in the news cycle that they are still in dire need of help. By writing blog posts about the Cruise 4 Haiti and/or putting a “I support the Cruise for Haiti” Badge on your blog or website will be a huge help!
