Norwegian Breakaway's Aqua Park and Recreation Area

Norwegian Breakaway’s Aqua Park and Recreation Area

I am sucker for a good water park. So, today when I got a tweet with a link to a Facebook album featuring the new Aqua Park on Norwegian Breakaway, I headed right over.

Norwegian Breakaway Aqua-loop promises an adrenaline rush

The  Aqua Park and Recreation area, including the ship’s ropes course and rock climbing wall, are all currently being installed on the top decks of Norwegian Breakaway. This Aqua Park zone is where I will spend most of my time while onboard Norwegian Breakaway. In fact, as I learned on my last cruise with a water slide, I better start looking for some new board shorts, which are the best bathing-suit option for active cruisers who don’t want a wedgie (did I really just write that?)

Norwegian Breakaway’s design will offer some exciting new features, which include: the Aqua Park that features two pools, four hot tubs and a semi-open air eatery called the Breezeway Bar & Grill; a three-story sports complex featuring the largest ropes course at sea, a nine-hole miniature golf course, basketball court and rock climbing wall; and don’t forget the live fireworks show on every cruise.
