When in Rome: enjoy the spa amenities on Royal Princess
Princess Cruises offers cruise passengers a variety of ways to spa: there is an amazing new Enclave (think Turkish bath), spa treatments at the Lotus Spa, an adults-only pool, and the uber-posh Sanctuary (think serenity butlers, shade, comfy lounge spaces and spa cuisine).

So, what can I say? It’s August and I am near Rome. Although I did have plans to visit Orvietto (outside of Rome), I opted to stay on Royal Princess to enjoy the ship. If I must say, this idea is proving to me one of the best I have made so far.
A couple of months ago, Princess Cruises asked their social media fans, friends and followers where their favorite place was on a Princess Cruises ship. I knew that I would be able to capture my favorite way to enjoy a Princess Cruises voyage: spending time in the Sanctuary and scheduling a port-day special at the Lotus Spa (look for reduced rates on spa treatments when the ships are in port). Learn more about the Sanctuary here: http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/activities/daytime_activities/day_sanctuary/.
