I got to thinking that I have not dined at Jacques yet onboard Oceania Cruises, so I thought,  why not dine at Jacques while the world-renowned chef is sailing?  So, I did a Google search for “Jacques Pépin culinary theme cruise 2013” and I came across a couple results that indicated the 2013 sailing with Jacques Pepin, the Executive Culinary Director for Oceania Cruises is in September 2013.

Note: I am in touch with Oceania Cruises to verify that this is the 2013 culinary sailing with  Jacques Pépin.

2013 Culinary Cruise with Jacques Pépin

Barcelona, Spain to Lisbon, Portugal setting sail on September 19-29, 2013

Ports of call: Barcelona, Spain; Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Ibiza, Spain; Cartagena, Spain; Malaga, Spain; Gibraltar, United Kingdom; Casablanca, Morocco; and Seville, Spain; Lisbon, Portugal.

This 10-night Mosaic Masterpiece on Oceania Riviera looks like a great option.  The itinerary is full of great ports that will certainly be bustling with local markets full of ingredients to inspire budding chefs.

Cruise passengers sailing on this voyage will feast on specially designed signature menus while having a chance to learn from Chef Pépin via engaging lectures, and culinary demonstrations.

Oceania Riviera dishes up culinary enrichment

Oceania Riviera is purpose-built for enrichment.

Cruise foodies will enjoy spectacular dining at any of the outlets, which include Jacques (on Marina and Riviera), Red Ginger, Toscana, Privée, La Reserve by Wine Spectator, or the Grand Dining Room.

Besides good eats, cruise guests can immerse themselves in cooking gourmet cuisine at Oceania Cruises’ Bon Appétit Culinary Center. It’s the world’s only hands-on culinary studio at sea and totally worth the effort to go to class.
