Cruise Buzz

When you step inside the luminous atrium lobby on a Disney Cruise Line ship you find yourself greeted by a bronze sculpture of a Disney character.   Mickey Mouse  and Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” are on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder.  Joining the list of celebrity bronzes is Donald Duck.  The newest bronze sculpture was announced at Disney’s D23 Expo on September 11, 2009 by Disney Cruise Line President Karl Holz. Donald Duck was on hand to receive a thunderous applause from adoring fans.  The sculpture will reside on the Disney Dream when she enters service in 2011.
