Cruise Shipping Miami Recap
Below are some of the items catching my attention in the Buzz Booth (my virtual seat to Cruise Shipping Miami where I am riding the #CSM2014 hashtag looking for interesting news, photos, links, and tips).

This morning Twitter was ablaze with play-by-play tweets from the opening address of the 30th Annual Cruise Shipping Miami Conference, which opened today at Miami Beach Convention Center.

The convention is the perfect place for the senior vice president of sales and marketing for MSC Cruises USA to tell industry insiders about the cruise lines product.
From @Cruiseable reporting from the session with Ken Muskat from MSC Cruises who tweets, “We don’t have the Dolphins Cheerleaders and the Rockettes, we depend on social media.”

#CruiseChat broke Twitter
Cruise Chat (a weekly Twitter chat focused in cruising) was just getting started when Twitter broke… All my streams were frozen while the microblogging platform went into a technical glitch. Simon (@SimonTravels) and Tim (@CruiseLineFans) had a great lineup of co-hosts from Norwegian Cruise Line. I hope they get a “redo” because that was going to be some very fun engagement.
