I have returned from Coco Cay. It was very nice and I took quite a few pictures. I thought for a second that I was nearing the last boat. I heard the ship?s horn, looked up from my Sudoku and there was not a soul on the beach where I was sitting. There was nothing to worry about as I had at least 15 minutes to spare.
The Wi-Fi instructions were not that great. First, there is no Wi-Fi at the computer center. Neither is there any in the library. As usual, I did not pay much attention to this fact and became irritated that I could not send my message. In addition, areas where you can plug-in the computer are few and far between. I like to work in a public space so that I can take in the ambiance. I have finally found such a place. It is in the club at the very top of the ship. There is Wi-Fi, an outlet and even entertainment. Right now a classical guitarist that plays contemporary tunes is entertaining. He just played Simon and Garfunkel and it was very pleasant. In addition it is not crowded at all.
The ship is growing on me as I spend more time on it. Yesterday was kind of a washout because I was running on adrenalin. Today is a lot more peaceful. It does not seem near as crowded. It certainly felt packed yesterday. There were literally crowds everywhere. You have to get in to the nooks and crannies before you can escape the masses. It is possible to do so. I will describe the ship at length as the week goes on. I have already found some standout areas; they are the Solarium and the Health Club steam, spa area.
My room is OK. It is an Inside which is in the middle of the ship. I have not caught my breath long enough to spend more the 5 waking minutes in it. I think that after tonight I will have returned to Normal. We have the first seminar in the morning.
