Allure of the Seas countdown to Florida: 8 days 20 hours to go

Allure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s newest and largest cruise ship is making her way Florida.

According to the official countdown clock at the Oasis and Allure website there are 8

days: 20 hours to homeport arrival in Port Everglades, Florida.

I can’t imagine the stress level as the crew puts the final touches on Allure of the Seas.  Despite the cheerful optimism expressed in Lisa Bauer’s November 1, 2010 post on Royal Caribbean International’s Nation of Why Not post, there is a lot of fine-tuning that is taking place and no matter how prepared the staff is, there is bound to be some tension.   I wish was there. It’s showtime!

One area that is getting their act together is the entertainment department. The entertainment on Allure of the Seas is going to be excellent. The Dreamworks Experience will certainly make a lot of people happy.
