Allure of the Seas is making steady progress through the North Atlantic Ocean from Finland. Captain Zini remains cheerful on his video message, and it looks like Royal Caribbean is about to have another fantastic ship join the fleet.

Get ready to be entertained on Allure of the Seas!

Part of Royal Caribbean’s mission was to take what worked well on Oasis of the Seas, and super-size it for a lack of a better word.

Blue Planet is one of the new shows on-board Allure of the Seas and the sets are the largest backdrops and scenery ever to grace a  Royal Caribbean ship.

Blue Planet is a show that incorporates four “destinations”: a rain forest, a desert, an ocean and a mountain range. Hence, the term “Blue Planet.” The audience is taken on a magical trip with Mother Nature as a guide to these four areas.

Blue Planet has a cast of 25 performers. The cast performs complicated choreography, flying elements, songs and staging. Look for one of the lead singers, Victor Wallace, who actually played the part of Corny Collins in Hairspray on Oasis last year.

This will be a great experience. I wonder who will get to see the show.
