Parting is such sweet sorrow!

Have you ever noticed that on the last night of a cruise that the mood is always, let’s say somber?  Before you have had your last meal, there is always a hint of melancholy in the air.

Practice what I have learned from the ships and instead of saying goodbye, it is “until we meet again.”

So here are a few tips for making the best of the last days of sea.

Have your final big night out before the last night of the cruise. Usually the last night is spent packing, giving your farewells, and checking over your shipboard account.

Speaking about your shipboard account, periodically check in at the hotel desk and ask for a hard copy of your account.  You will avoid long lines on the final day, and you will have enough time to remedy any errors.
