According to the Royal Caribbean Cruise Compass, our onboard bulletin of activities, today is a new day and a new chance to make it our own. The thirty-one members of the Cruise4Haiti group took the challenge, and put their mark on our second sea-day of the 7-night voluncruise.

The morning session featured lectures by For Haiti With Love and Nancy Schretter from Together for Good.

For Haiti With Love’s, Co-Founder Eva Dehart talked about the non-profit’s mission, work in Haiti, and a status report about the orphanage and free burn clinic.

Voluncruisers sort through 300 pounds of donations for orphans

The afternoon was spent sorting over 300 pounds of donations. The donations were put into gift bags to give to orphans in our ports of call in St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and Haiti.
