World’s Largest Cruise Night goes Social
Twitter chat celebrates all things cruising
A couple of years ago, @VegasBill and I walked the trade-show floor at the Luxury Travel Expo in Vegas. We were both very excited to run into Gavin MacLeod at the Princess Cruises booth and the photo above is our proof. @VegasBill was kind enough to post this pic in response to one of the #CruiseChat questions about cruising during the Twitter chat about The World’s Largest Cruise Night.
Thanks to Tim (@CruiseLineFans) and Simon (@Simontravels), the Cruise Crew was able to tweet about our favorite topic today on Twitter: The World’s Largest Cruise Night (#WLCN) during #CruiseChat today.
Besides a steady stream of banter and fun ideas about how to have a great cruise, I liked how we captured the spirit of cruising and the quest to find onboard credit offers. The World’s Largest Cruise Night is an industry-wide program inviting cruise lines and travel agents to participate in events that will promote bookings. Cruise Lines can create special offers and travel agents can host events to showcase offers to their customers.
Customers are encouraged to make deposits on future cruises, which is a great idea because of the attractive offers from cruise lines. Everybody wins.
