Popular attractions in London

Welcome to London, England!

There is so much to do.

Getting into the city

The journey from London’s Heathrow Airport (http://www.heathrowairport.com/)  is quite easy and travelers will discover an option that suites their budget and lifestyle.  I have taken the Heathrow Express and also private transportation. Both options are good.  Although listening to the “mind the gap” announcement is always fun on the train.

A good source of information about tourism in Britain can be found at the Visit Britain website (www.VisitBritain.com).

Getting around the city

Travelling on foot, by car, bus, taxi or train is easy in London. My tip is to get an Oyster Card and a Hop-on/Hop-off bus pass. These two options will allow for quick transport through the city  via tube rides or buses.
