Yesterday I drove to school five times to volunteer for various end-of-the-year activities. At one point I found myself in the school cafeteria helping plate chicken kabobs for 122 graduating 8th graders.  At about the 100th plate, I thought about the ships and  vowed to be more appreciative the next time I ate dinner in the dining room on my next cruise. When I saw the photo from Holland America Line’s Blog, it made me happy to see that life on the ships is not just about work.
