From Azamara Club Cruises….

In an industry where the emphasis is often on creating the latest flashy onboard experience, Azamara Club Cruises has a different focus—the destination (check out my Blogger-at-Large posts from my recent encounter with the brand).

Azamara’s new ad campaign introduces the brand as the voyage for those who love travel, giving guests longer stays, more overnights, and night touring throughout hundreds of unique destinations, all over the world.

According to Azamara, “the TV commercials give viewers a break from the other commercials out there, and takes them on a 30-second worldwide vacation.”

  • http://youtu.be/kHf4OMbGsD0: More Time

The three spots incorporate a mix of film techniques to express the core messages of longer stays, more overnights and night touring.  The spots are:  Land, the reason we cruise, More Time, we give you more time to explore; and Night. It’s the Best Time of Day.

To visually support the copy, the spots incorporate film that uses hyper lapse, time lapse, slow mo, drones and more.  Original music was created to compliment the fast-paced visuals.  The spots were designed to reinforce the brand message to its core target, which tends to be 50+, while appealing and generating interest in a younger demo as well.
