Overview
The social media sites were buzzing with dispatches from the ships. I have picked my favorite links from Facebook and Twitter that help capture the places, people, and things I love about cruising.
Making the list were updates from Holland American Line about ms Prinsendam in Bordeaux, France and a baby sea lion who hitched a ride on a cruise guest’s kayak on Lindblad Expeditions.
Seabourn and Silversea Cruises post about onboard enrichment programs that might entice some cruise prospects: Silversea Cruises posts about a wine cruise, and Seabourn debuts its 2013 World Cruise Distinguished Speakers series.
Topping off my list of favorites was mention of a Pajama Jam with accompanying photo of Spongebob, who I personally hope to meet on a NCL voyage one day (preferably before my 7-year-old graduates from middle school).

and Celebrity Cruises is a major-player in the food and wine themed cruise arena, that’s for sure. Another cruise line that is also making a splash is Silversea Cruises (see tweet summary in next section) announcing two voyages hosted by Lyn Farmer who is leading wine tastings and lectures on Silver Cloud.
