Pinterest for cruise businesses is here

Pinterest announced the launch of Pinterest for Business. Now cruise businesses can create commercial accounts on the social networking site.

An invite to convert to Pinterest business account.

As I have mentioned before, I am a big fan of Pinterest for cruise planning because it is an easy way to share inspirational pictures and video about cruise ships, shore excursions, destinations, ports, and places I have been.  I decided to convert my existing Pinterest account into a business account.

What I like the best about the business account is that I can access resources faster on the Pinterest site that will enable me increase the amount of traffic I generate from friends, followers, pinners, and fans.

I converted my Pinterest account, are you?

Pinterest for Businesses

For some reason I decided to convert my fully operational individual Pinterest account and convert it to a business account. Besides changing the default first and last name on my account to  my business name, I am not sure I see much difference.

Here are the tools that Pinterest is offering business accounts (learn more at www.searchjournal.com)

  • Verify your website:  Verified business accounts should rank higher in Pinterest search, making it easier for users to find you.
  • Drive more traffic via Pinterest sharing buttons and widgets.  Pinterest makes it easier for business users to integrate pin actions on their websites via the  Pin It buttonFollow buttonProfile widget, or Board widget.
