Since 1948, San Diego’s Maritime Museum has welcomed visitors to their expansive collection of well-preserved historic sea vessels. The museum’s artifacts are housed on the historic ships. Cruise visitors calling on the Port of San Diego will have an easy walk from the dock to the museum. Just look for the mast of the tall ships along the Embarcadero, which is the area along the harbor on the east side of San Diego Bay.
