CruiseBuzz Traveling Mom, Carrie Finley-Bajak, looks at the Hyatt Regency Resort on Aruba. Discover this special place the next time your cruise ship calls on Aruba.

Southern Caribbean and Panama Canal cruisers have consistently rated Aruba as a top destination. Visitors to this exotic island are welcomed by a perfect climate, clean beaches, and exquisite water. Upon returning from a cruise, many of our clients want to return to Aruba. The one lesson cruisers learn from a day on Aruba is that they want to go back to the island.
Getting to Aruba is easy. Daily non stop service makes this paradise a convenient getaway. Choosing a place to stay is easy too. I recommend staying in the Palm Beach area on the island where many resort hotels are available. The Hyatt Regency Resort and Casino is a family friendly resort that we enjoy when we need a little luxury, consistency, and a comfortable bed. My husband and I enjoy the reliable gracious service, modern upgrades and soothing color schemes. My children enjoy the fact that other children are on property and that there are kid friendly amenities like shallow water in the pool, a tennis court, water activities, and a steady supply of smoothies at the bar. After a full morning of family time, I always need a little break and having the kids club on property is a big plus. The Camp Hyatt program is wonderful. I give high marks for cleanliness and variety of toys.
One of my criteria for a beach resort is the water. I look for proximity of the ocean, and how big the pool is. I am a sucker for beach-front pools with swim up bars and water slides. The Hyatt delivers.
The Hyatt Regency Resort and Casino is a self contained resort with all the amenities to keep a family happy. Although it is close to shops, there is no reason to leave the property once settled in.

Traveling Mom of two and resident luxury cruise expert, Carrie Finley-Bajak offers insight into kids clubs. Treat yourself to a cruise vacation or all inclusive resort that has a kids club. Stress free family vacation fun for all!

Although I admit that traveling with kids is not a stress free proposition, I would rather deal with a little adversity than stay home.
Our family has taken some fabulous trips with the kids to land based resorts like Beaches and we have embarked on wonderful cruises with the family. Whether we choose a land based resort or a cruise, we always find out if the location has a kids club.
What makes a good kids club at an all inclusive resort or cruise line?
A good kids club is a safe and friendly environment with lots of activities for children of all ages. Family friendly resorts and cruises offer programs that educate, entertain and supervise kids. The Disney Cruise Line is a family-friendly cruise line that gets high marks for their innovative kids club programs. The Disney cruise offers group babysitting for children as young as 12 weeks and as old as three. The babysitting program is available for a fee where the kids club for ages 3 – 17 is included in the cruise fare. Disney’s Oceaneer Club provides a play space specifically designed for ages three to seven, while Disney’s Oceaneer Lab is for ages eight to 12. Lastly, Disney offer teens their own space on board, which includes big-screen televisions, a lounge area, a dance floor and an Internet café.

Taking a family vacation can be an amazing experience. Taking advantage of all inclusive resorts or kid friendly cruise lines will reduce much of the stress associated with traveling with children. On vacation, parents can decide how much time they want to spend with the kids so adults can keep busy – or just relax - all day and night. Choose to have family time or individual time throughout your family vacation. Whatever you do, every choice is sure to yield lifelong memories!.
