Big Bus Rome
Cruise visitors interested in taking a tour on the Big Bus Paris will either be visiting for the day or staying in Paris before or after a river cruise on the Seine. In either case (logistics aside), the hop-on, hop-off Big Bus Paris is a fabulous way to get a taste of the “City of Light.”
I was in Paris on a three-city European tour researching options for cruise visitors and was extremely happy with the Big Bus Paris. Using the bus is an easy and convenient way to explore France’s capital. Passengers get the benefit of a guided narrated tour while seeing famous sights along the route. Passengers are free to explore the sights on their own and then reboard the double-decker bus to continue the tour.
I enjoyed a 1-day hop-on, hop-off sightseeing Big Bus Paris tour with the Classic Ticket that allowed me to see and learn about the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais and Notre Dame. I mostly stayed on the Red Route, but there is another route available, which was covered by my Classic Ticket. The Blue Route takes visitors to Montmartre, including Sacré Coeur and the Moulin Rouge.
