Overview

Dubbed the  “Conch Republic,”  Key West is a  popular port of call  on Western Caribbean cruise itineraries.

 

Logistics

There are three different places where cruise ships can  dock:

  • Pier B, near the Truman Annex
  • The Navy (Outer) Mole, near Fort Zachary Taylor (a tourist trolley will shuttle visitors off he base to town)
  •  Mallory Square

Top attractions, not to be missed

This port is small and very easy to navigate on foot. Besides walking around looking around the shops and waterfront, cruise visitors also like to buy a ticket for the Old Towne Trolley.

Also, take a waling tour of historic Old-Town district of Key West, Florida to see the sights. Make sure to sample some Key Lime Pie at The Blonde Giraffe and walk Duval Street to check out the Key West’s bars, restaurants, and shops.
