Explore Tahiti and Bora Bora
Top destinations, amazing scenery
Bora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, an “Overseas Country” assisted by France in the Pacific Ocean.
Choose to get into the water when cruising in this part of the world. The crystal-clear warm waters are a great place to enjoy a snorkeling adventure.
A day at Paul Gauguin’s own island is part of the experience. Make sure to bring the sunscreen and plan to spend a day on your own tropical island.
Do you want to cruise better in Tahiti, French Polynesia, Fiji, and the South Pacific?
My answer to that question is most definitely, yes! And why not? A cruise to Tahiti, or Bora Bora is on just about every cruiser’s bucket list (inlcuding mine).
In 2012 I went on a press trip to the region and was immediately blown away by the natural beauty. The cruise ship, although small and mighty, was well appointed and the perfect way to slow-cruise around the islands.
Since then, I think of that cruise often and often times wonder how I can make my way back to the South Pacific. With convenient flights from LAX (only 45-minutes from my house), I can jump on a flight and be there in just a little more than it would take me to get to Hawaii.
What I liked about the cruise (still!) was the staff, the great food served in the three restaurants, the included sports offered at the water sports marina, as well as the ability to visit an overwater bungalow in one of the sister resorts in Tahiti and Bora Bora.
Cruising better to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Fiji, and the South Pacific means luxury cruise line Paul Gauguin Cruises, hands-down a crowd favorite.
