Cruise Buzz

Embarking on any cruise ship is always a great feeling.  Embarking on a cruise with three generations for a multi-generational family reunion cruise is little overwhelming.  Left to my own devises I like to linger around the port and check out the action.   On this embarkation, I have to keep a vigilant eye out for a five year old and an eighty year old.  The pre-teen in the group is my co-pilot.

Lucky for me I am a pro at navigating the Port of Los Angeles.  We arrive early to the port and have to wait with the other eager beavers hoping the ship clears before the recommended time.   We planned in advance to take the trolley to the Ports O’ Call Marketplace so we dropped off our luggage and walked to the trolley stop.  Weekends are a great time to visit.  If you are at the Port of Los Angeles, there are many museums, and fun places to pass the time.  If you have a rental car, consider driving up to Trump National for breathtaking views and a glimpse of the wide-open sea.
