2014 Celebrity Cruises Great Wine Festival

Irvine, California was the place to be last weekend, especially if you like wine. Celebrity Cruises Great Wine Festival at the Great Park in Irvine.

Supporters of Legal Aid Society of Orange County and would-be cruise travelers got to sample wines, spirits, beers, and tasty bites.

Why Irvine?

Based on an article I read at ABCNews.com, it was reported that the location was based on research showing that Celebrity has 100,000 past guests living in Orange County and Southern California and most are food and wine enthusiasts.

The festival food showcased “award-winning land-based restaurants” with pourings from many of the same wineries and microbreweries a guest would find onboard.

Serving delish lamb chop bites and watermelon salad – perfect on a hot day. The only thing better would be to eat these dishes at the Lawn Club Grill on at Celebrity Cruises ship.
