Spas. A couple of weeks ago I went to the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. The sky was cloudy and the sea was calm. There was a convention of sorts and otherwise not very many people. I had the best time. I got to spend some quality time with my good friends and I also got to enjoy the spa. What a spa. It got me thinking about spa vacations. Most of the ships all have very extensive spas onboard. However, with a little advanced research you might be able to visit a spa at a world famous hotel while visiting on a port of call. For instance in the Bahamas you could get over to Paradise Island and visit the Mandara Spa at the Atlantis Resort. Make sure to arrive early enough to take a dip in the marble whirlpool before your treatment. After your visit make sure to leave enough time to visit the Sivananda Ashram yoga retreat. The center accepts day guests and they have the most amazing beachfront location in the Bahamas. Visit their website and confirm that it is still ok to visit http://www.sivanandabahamas.org/.

I just read all of the posts on the blog, Carrie. Thanks for emailing me to let me know about it. I had no idea it even existed. I loved reading all the posts.
I still have that gift certificate to the Montage Spa that you guys all chipped in and gave me for my 40th bday last year. I better use it! Thanks for reminding me.
I enjoyed reading about all the cruise happenings. I’ll email you pictures from our cruise that we booked with you, in response to your request for cruise pictures.
I’m still advocating for a girls only cruise — or better yet, moms and kids. Let’s put one together.
You should email everyone when you update your blog like I do so that everyone knows about it and remembers to check it — I’m sure many people would enjoy reading it.
